Two Boats Collide on the River
Level 12
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
As retold by a player at the table, the action had checked to Jarod Ludemann in the small blind, who limped in. Joe Hindry checked his option in the big blind.
The J♥4♦2♠ flop saw Ludemann start with a check, and Hindry bet 7,500. Ludemann then check-raised to 19,000, which Hindry called before the 2♣ turn checked through.
The J♠ river saw fireworks, as Ludemann bet 75,000, and Hindry responded by moving all in for 236,000. Ludemann made the call before it was revealed that he had been victim to a Main Event cooler.
Ludemann tabled his J♦2♦ for a full house, but was behind to the J♣4♣ of Hindry, who had rivered a better boat.
