Bronstein Bounces Back
Level 20
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Noah Bronstein open-jammed for his last 200,000 from early position, and action folded to Refaat Mostafa on the button, who asked: "How much?"
Bronstein replied, "Two hundred flat!"
Mostafa made the call, putting Bronstein at risk, and the pair went to showdown.
Noah Bronstein: Q♦Q♣
Refaat Mostafa: 4♦4♣
Bronstein was ahead when the cards were flipped, and he held on the 5♣A♦A♠J♦K♦ runout with very little sweat. After the hand, Mostafa discussed how he had, "Made it this far with pocket fours...but now I stop playing them, I think."
