Liu Wakes Up with Aces
Level 20
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Iris Liu was already all in for her remaining 265,000 from middle position and covered by Prabhakar Patel in the big blind.
Iris Liu: A♠A♣
Prabhakar Patel: K♣K♦
Liu was ahead and hoping to hold against Patel's pocket kings to keep her seat in the main event.
The 7♦7♣J♦ flop was good for Liu, and she held on the 3♣ turn and the 9♦ river to lock up the double.
