Liubomyr Melnyk opened to 55,000 on the button and Lester Edoc called from the small blind. John Weiss defended his big blind and the players went three-ways to the flop.

The A♠8♠5♦ was dealt and action checked to Weiss who bet out 110,000. Both Melynk and Edoc mucked, leaving Weiss to pick up the pot. All three players are sitting with more than double the average stack having accumulated over a million more chips each in the first level of the day.
