Yuan Climbs Up the Counts
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Greg Garabedian opened from early position and Berkeley Yuan defended his big blind. The pair went to a K♦K♣6♦ flop and Yuan check-called a 225,000 bet by Garabedian.
A J♥ was turned, and Yuan bet 160,000, which sent Garabedian into a small tank. Eventually he mucked his hand and Yuan picked up the pot.
With action in the next hand folding around to Yuan in the small blind, he jammed on the big blind and picked up even more chips, putting him near the top ten in the counts.
With Garabedian knocked down to 750,000 after the hand, he was seen walking away from the tournament shortly after losing the pot to Yuan.
