There's Something About Perry
Ralph Perry has not been happy with short stack Farid Jattin, accusing him of unnecessarily tanking and being quick to call the clock.
"He's taking five minutes every hand," Perry said, though others at the table disputed that he had taken that long.
Perry raised to 200,000 in early position and action folded to Jattin a few seats over. He shuffled his remaining chips for about a minute before Perry called the clock.
"Buddy, why are you in such a bad mood? You're playing fantastic, you have all these chips," Jattin said before folding.
"I don't know why the rest of you are okay with this," Perry grumbled.
Tianle Wang then called in the big blind and, ironically, ended up playing a five-minute hand against the anti-tanker.
Wang checked on the flop of 3♥4♠2♦ and Perry continued for 150,000. Wang check-raised to 425,000 and Perry called. Wang then sized up to 750,000 on the A♣ turn and Perry called.
Wang bet 750,000 again on the A♥ river and Perry took his time before raising to 3,000,000. Wang laid it down. Jattin stayed silent after the hand, but Benjamin Morgan stood up for him.
"Now you can be happy," said Morgan.
