Tropp Keeps Smith Honest
Level 33
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Thomas Clack raised to 800,000 in the hijack and faced a three-bet to 2,400,000 from Dylan Smith on the button. The action folded back to Clack, who opted to give it up.
A couple of hands later, Smith raised first in himself, making it 800,000 from the hijack. Only Mark Tropp called, defending his big blind.
Once Tropp had checked, Smith continued with a bet of 750,000 on a J♥K♠8♣ flop, which Tropp called.
The 7♦ played out the same way, as Tropp checked before calling a bet of 1,200,000.
The J♦ completed the board, and Tropp checked one final time. This time, Smith checked back before mucking his cards when Tropp tabled K♥5♥ for two pair.
