Hrabec Takes Chip Lead With Massive Call

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Anatoly Nikitin opened the action from late position with a raise to 60,000. Micah Raskin flat-called from the small blind before Roman Hrabec in the big blind opted to three-bet, choosing 200,000 as his size. Nikitin got out of the way quickly, but Raskin made the call.

Raskin then led out for 300,000 on the 242 flop. After a brief think, Hrabec min-clicked to 600,000, which sent Raskin deep into the tank. After a few minutes, Nikitin called clock on Raskin, who called with just a couple of seconds left.

The A turn went check, check, bringing in the A river. Raskin then pushed forward two full stacks of T-25,000 chips, good for a bet of 1,000,000. This then sent Hrabec into the tank, as a visible look of confusion came across his face. Eventually, he put in the call, and Raskin remained unmoving for a short time. He eventually tabled 55, and Hrabec triumphantly showed KK for the winning hand.
