The 8♦A♠J♣ flop gave James middle set, and a gutshot to Mechammil, which he decided to continuation-bet for 170,000. Only James made the call, and the Q♣ turn was an absolute dream for Mechammil, as he hit the exact card he needed to. He went small, for 225,000 and James put in yet another call.
The 5♦ river might've made Brewer a bit sick, even though his set would've been third best, as Mechammil's straight held. He bet out for a third time, for 500,000. As was written, James shoved, Mechammil snapped, and secured the full double.
