Mike Meskin Eliminated in 16th Place ($41,942); Artem Riabov Eliminated in 15th Place ($51, 258)
Naseem Salem looked down at what he considered a raisable hand under the gun, and opened to 200,000. Short stack Mike Meskin sat on his direct left, and raised all in for 750,000. Artem Riabov then flatted the shove on the button, and Salem began to size up his opponent's stack. He tanked for a little while, pondered his options, and placed in a four-bet, totalling 2,050,000. Riabov jammed and Salem snapped, which made a lot of sense to the table once cards were on their backs.
Mike Meskin: A♠Q♠
Artem Riabov: K♦K♣
Naseem Salem: A♣A♥
It was the classic cooler, with Meskin in the middle of it. Not getting too greedy, he let the table know that he would "take the flush". Once again not getting what he asked for, the 10♣9♣5♦ sight was not pretty for either covered player. The 4♠ turn sealed Meskin's fate, with the 2♦ river sealing Riabov's, handing the chip lead over to Salem.
