Cliff Josephy Eliminated in 8th Place ($105,178)
Level 31
: Blinds 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante
Cliff Josephy open-jammed for his remaining 1,410,000 and Chad Lipton called from the small blind. Alex Cruz took some time before re-jamming for 11,450,000 and covering Lipton's remaining 7,000,000 stack. Lipton snap called and the players went three-ways to showdown.
Cliff Josephy: 8♣8♥
Chad Lipton: K♠K♣
Alex Cruz: 10♥10♣
Lipton had the advantage and things only improved for him on the K♦7♦8♦ flop. With no player holding a diamond, there was only a few outs that could change the standings for Josephy and Cruz.
A K♥ turn ended Josephy's run in the tournament, and he stood from the table to see the 6♠ river complete the board.
