Ilani Check-Raises River

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Chris Brewer opened the action with a raise to 10,000 on the button. Ran Ilani and John Wasnock called out of the blinds to create a three-handed pot.

All three players checked the 5104 flop and the Q turn to bring the 6 river.

Ilani checked his small blind before Wasnock fired 31,000. Brewer folded, but Ilani was still interested in the hand.

After a brief consideration, Ilani chose to check-raise to 100,000. Wasnock did not think long before he pitched his cards into the muck.

James Picks Off Anton's Triple Barrel Bluff

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Bobby James just reported to PokerNews about a big hand he played earlier in Level 12, which gave a big increase to his stack.

With blinds at 1,500/3,000, Alex Anton completed from the small blind and James checked his option in the big blind.

The dealer spread the A10Q flop and Anton fired out for 5,000. James put in the call.

A 9 arrived on the turn, and Anton fired once more, this time for 22,000. Again, James continued in the form of a call.

The 6 completed the board, and Anton overbet for 100,000. James called and Anton could only show a total bluff with Jx4x. James tabled the winner holding Ax5x for just one pair, and the huge pot went his way.

Spanne Sends Zamani Out

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Martin Zamani from early position clashed with Joseph Spanne on the button as Zamani was all-in and at risk.

Joseph Spanne: JJ

Zamani was in prime position for a double, but the flop altered that in a hurry when it came 210J to give Spanne top set.
