Lapka Holds On; Arnwine Sits Tall

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Justin Arnwine
Justin Arnwine

Players were in a limped pot with Justin Lapka in the small blind and Spencer Champlin in the big blind. The pair were looking at a 3K6 board, and both checked to the 9 turn.

Lapka was down to his last ~200,000 and took some time before opting to check. Champlin checked behind, and the pair were taken to the K river. Lapka checked, Champlin asked for 50,000, which was still too much for Lapka, and he mucked his cards.

A few hands later, Lapka was seen open-jamming from the hijack and scooping up the blinds.

On the table across, Honghao Zhang opened to 50,000 from the hijack and Justin Arnwine called from the cutoff.

The KJ10 flop was quickly checked through to the 7 turn and 2 river, where Zhang bet out 80,000. Arnwine was quick to fold, passing a small pot across the table. He remained one of the leaders of the pack mid-way through Day 3.
