In a heads-up pot on a flop of A♣K♥3♠, Malcolm Franchi checked and Michael Plesa bet 400,000. Franchi called.

Franchi then check-called a bet of 1,000,000 on the 8♠ turn and check-called a bet of 3,000,000 on the A♦ river. Plesa could only show 4♣4♠ for a pair of fours as Franchi tabled A♠Q♦ to win the pot with trips.

A few hands later, Shawn Daniels opened to 800,000 and Kartik Ved three-bet to 1,800,000 in the cutoff. Plesa then four-bet jammed a stack of around 5,000,000 in the big blind to bring folds from both opponents.
