Hildebrand Bets Out Two

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 35,000 ante

Per Hildebrand raised to 55,000 from under the gun, with Phil Hellmuth calling on his immediate left. Naoya Kihara came along in the big blind, and drew two.

Hildebrand and Hellmuth each took one card, and Kiahara checked. Hildebrand counted out a bet of 175,000, producing a frustrated reaction from Hellmuth as he folded.

Kihara followed with a fold, and Hildebrand collected the pot. At the other table, David Lin took down a pot against John Cynn after showing down a nine-eight.

Monnette asked Deeb to peel first and Deeb flipped a Jx for a J-8. Unfortunately for Monnette, he caught a Kx to give himself K-8 and was sent to the rail in tenth place.

Shak Four-Bets Hellmuth

Level 20 : 10,000/25,000, 35,000 ante

Dan Shak raised to 55,000 from the cutoff and Phil Hellmuth three-bet to 250,000 from the big blind. Shak immediately jammed for Hellmuth's remaining 650,000, causing Hellmuth to get out of his chair and throw his cards into the muck.

Shak turned over 8x7x4x3x2x as he dragged in the pot.

Cynn Forces the Fold

John Monnette raised to 60,000 from under the gun, and John Cynn defended his big blind before drawing one.

Monnette stood pat, and fired 40,000 into the middle after Cynn checked. That was met with a check-raise from Cynn, making it 210,000.

After taking a few moments, Monnette let his hand go.

On the other table, Naoya Kihara got a pair of shoves through to add chips to his short stack.

Foxen tabled 8x5x4x3x2x for an 8-5, but was beaten by Lin's 7-6 with 7x6x5x3x2x. Foxen was gone in 11th place and Lin was up to two million.

Kihara drew two, while Hellmuth asked for one card. Kihara led out with a bet of 65,000, and Hellmuth quickly announced a call.

Kihara tabled 5x5x, while Hellmuth revealed Qx8x7x6x4x to earn the pot.

After the draw, David Lin checked from the big blind and Alex Foxen fired for about 35,000 from the button. Lin took his time and check-raised to 210,000.

Foxen took out his earphones, leaned back in his chair, and stared down Lin. Lin's raise was for a large portion of Foxen's stack, and after about 90 seconds. Foxen elected to call.

Lin tabled a 9-5 with 9x5x4x3x2x and Foxed tossed his cards into the muck.
