"Straights Are Bad" For Moneymaker

Bradley Jansen raised to 1,500 in the hijack and Hye Park three-bet to 5,100 on the button. Chris Moneymaker called in the big blind, while Jansen got out of the way.

Both players drew one, and Moneymaker then led out for 6,500. Park called.

"I made a straight," Moneymaker said, and Park showed Jx10x8x7x4x to win the pot.

"They say straights are bad," Moneymaker added after the hand.
