Weiss Pats to Triple Up

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 3,000 ante

Oscar Johansson raised in the hijack, and Frank Kassela flat-called on the button. Dennis Weiss then pushed in his stack of 20,000 from the big blind, seeing Johansson call.

Kassela had other plans, however, and four-bet. Johansson quickly folded, leaving a confused Weiss to tank for a bit before patting. Kassela drew one card, and the players tabled their hands.

Dennis Weiss: 10x8x6x3x2x All in
Frank Kassela: 6x4x3x2x

Kassela received a Jx, meaning Weiss held to triple up to the starting stack.

"Huh, broke a jack, got a jack," Kassela stated.
