Furey is No More

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Andrew Dean opened to 60,000 from under the gun before Charles Furey reraised to 180,000 from early position. Daniel Allen called out of the big blind, but Dean wanted to play for more and chose to three-bet to 550,000. Furey four-bet jammed for 1,435,000 in response. Allen gave it some thought before he folded. Dean called to put Furey at risk.

Charles Furey: AAAll in
Andrew Dean: KK

Furey was in a dominant position to double up, but the flop was a disaster as it came K43 to give Dean top set.

The 6 turn was of no consequence and the Q river sealed the deal as a disappointed Furey was eliminated from contention.
