Gong Leaves Nee on Fumes
Level 23
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ke Gong opened to 80,000 from early position before Kevin Nee re-raised to 250,000 from the cutoff. Gong responded with another raise to 1,080,000, leaving a small stack of chips behind. Nee jammed, and Gong called for 1,235,000 effective to be at risk.
Ke Gong: A♦K♦
Kevin Nee: Q♥Q♦
The flop was all Gong when it came 10♥A♠A♥ to give him trip aces.
Gong sealed it on the turn when the K♣ peeled to give him a full house, as Nee was left with no recourse as they went to the river.
The 4♦ river completed the board as Gong secured the double up and left Nee with a small stack.
