Angelov Can't Shake Gierse

Level 6 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Brandon Wilson opened to 8,000 on the button and Aleksejs Ponakovs called from the small blind. Fahredin Mustafov three-bet to 37,000 in the big blind. Wilson threw in a time bank card before calling and Ponakovs moved all in. All players mucked and Wilson remarked, "glad I didn't do that."

On the same table a few hands later, Marius Gierse limped from the small blind and Boris Angelov checked the big blind.

A J10K flop was bet by Gierse for 4,000 and Angelov called to see the 5 turn.

Gierse check-called a 10,000 bet by Angelov and the pair were given the 5 river. Gierse checked, Angelov bet 30,000, and Gierse checked his hand before calling and tabling his J4 for two pair. Angelov also showed his missed straight draw with 98.
