Pu Hits Trips to Double
Level 15
: 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Andrew Park opened to 14,000 from middle position. Jiang Pu was on his direct left, and shoved for 48,000. Action folded around to Park, who thought for a little while before putting in the call.
Jiang Pu: A♣K♣10♦8♥2♣
Andrew Park: A♥J♥7♥5♥3♦
The 10♣J♦6♥ flop came good for Park, but the 10♠ turn had him in a world of hurt, drawing to just two jacks on the river. The 6♣ wasn't one of them, as Pu held on to double up and survive.
