Cassidy's Aces Beaten by Cheung as Kessler Reminds Brings Up Bittersweet Memories

Level 11 : Limits 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

James Cheung: XxXx/108J9/Xx
Joe Cassidy: XxXx/49J10/Xx

Joe Cassidy was late arriving for Day 2 and only took his seat besides Allen Kessler after about 10 minutes. "So it is the real Joe Cassidy. I haven't seen you in years. Remember John Aglialoro?," Kessler said, harking back to Cassidy's runner-up finish in the U.S. Poker Championship more than 20 years ago.

Cassidy just let out a laugh as he put in a raise after James Cheung completed. Cheung called. Cassidy bet on fourth street, Cheung raised, and Cassidy called.

Cheung continued betting on fifth and sixth as Cassidy called down to seventh. Both players then checked, and Cheung showed 984 for two pair. Cassidy flung AA into the muck.
