Kessler Not Playing For the Money

Level 17 : Limits 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Allen Kessler: XxXx/K538/Xx
Naoya Kihara: XxXx/7669/Xx

Naoya Kihara completed, Allen Kessler raised, and Kihara called.

Kessler bet on fourth street and Kihara called. Kihara then bet on fifth, and Kessler called.

Kihara bet again on sixth, and Kessler then raised all in. Kihara called and turned over 98 for two pair, but Kessler had rolled up kings with KK. Kessler caught the 3 to improve to a full house, while Kihara's last card was the 3 and Kessler doubled up.

"The great ones always double up," Ryan Miller said.

"You're going to win this one," Jason Kluska said to Kessler.

"I don't care about the money. I really don't. I just want to play," Kessler replied.

Kluska doubled up off Paul Volpe the next hand when he bet on sixth, then moved all in on seventh. Volpe called showing 93A5, but Kluska had 6575KJ4 for a flush to win the pot.
