"I think this is the one," said Brad Ruben, who raised over James Cheung completion. It folded back to Cheung, who reraised. Ruben put in the rest of his short stack to go off to the races.

Ruben was ahead with eights in the hole, until Cheung made a pair of aces on sixth street. Cheung improved aces up by seventh, leaving Ruben needing an eight.

Ruben missed, turning over the 5♣ for him to be the first final table casualty.
