Capriles on the Right Side of a Cooler

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Miguel Capriles
Miguel Capriles

While multi-tabling poker online, Miguel Capriles casually put in a raise to 30,000 under the gun. Action folded to Jason Raber in the cutoff, who three-bet to 70,000. Capriles wasn't done yet as he made it 110,000 when the action got back to him. Raber jammed, and Capriles beat him into the pot for his stack of around 395,000.

Miguel Capriles: AA All in
Jason Raber: KK

It was poker's classic preflop cooler, and Raber found himself in rough shape from the moment the cards were tabled.

Capriles surged even further ahead on the 10A3 flop after improving to top set, leaving Raber needing a miracle to win.

Raber picked up a glimmer of hope on the J turn with a straight draw, but those hopes were quickly extinguished when the 6 completed the board.

Capriles secured the double-up, while Raber was left nursing just a couple of big blinds.
