Jelinek Holds With Jacks

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

The small blind, Steve Jelinek, was forced all in, and Alex Foxen opened the action from middle position with a raise to 60,000 before it folded to Scott Stinson in the cutoff, who three-bet all in for 710,000.

It folded back to Foxen, who gave it a quick thought before mucking, to leave the players heads-up, with Stinson at risk.

Scott Stinson: 99 All in
Steve Jelinek: JJ

Stinson woke up with a big hand after being forced all in but was still crushed by the jacks of Jelinek. The board ran out Q536Q to knock out Stinson.

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Josh Reichard raised to 105,000 in middle position and Daniel Negreanu defended in the big blind.

The flop came 76K and Negreanu check-called a bet of 140,000, bringing the 3 turn, where both players checked.

On the 3 river, Negreanu check-called a bet of 180,000 and saw the bad news when Reichard tabled KKQ7 for the full house, kings full of treys.

Nelson Builds Stack Early

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Pot Limit Omaha

Alex Foxen in middle position was still stacking his chips when he opened for 75,000. Travis Macmillan to his left called, and Bailey Nelson in the big blind followed suit.

The flop came 767 and all three players checked.

The 6 fell on the turn, and Nelson led out with 80,000, which was enough to take down the pot.

Karunets Hits the Rail

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action folded to Mykolas Zvilius, who limped in on the button, before Alena Karunets potted, leaving just a few chips behind. It folded back to Zvilius, who made the call.

After the flop came 459, Karunets moved all in, and Zvilius quickly made the call to put her at risk.

Alena Karunets: AK103 All in
Mykolas Zvilius: AJ82

Neither player had a pair after the flop, with Karunets slightly ahead. But when the board ran out Q10, Zvilius made a queen-high straight to take the pot and knock out Karunets.

Action continues at the 2026 World Series of Poker with Day 2 of Event #28: $600 Deepstack Mixed No-Limit Hold'em & Pot-Limit Omaha kicking off at 11 a.m. local time inside the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

Only 132 players are returning from a massive field that started with 3,332 entries, all of whom have their eyes set on the first-place prize of $204,140, as well as the coveted gold bracelet. The event generated a prize pool of $1,679,328, with all remaining competitors already locking up a cash of at least $1,815.

A slew of heavy-hitters make up the top ten, including Hall of Famers Brian Rast (2,535,000) and Daniel Negreanu (2,320,000), who sit in second and fourth place, respectively.

Not far behind are Alex Foxen (2,185,000), who hopes to replicate his wife Kristen's performance in the $25,000 High Roller just a couple of days ago, and Jason Daly (1,715,000), who continues to ride the momentum from his win in the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo earlier in the series.
