When the action folded to Pieter Aerts in the small blind, he raised to 450,000, which Anatoly Zlotnikov called in the big blind.

The dealer spread a 10A2 flop, and Aerts continued for 250,000, which Zlotnikov called.

Aerts barrelled for a more substantial 800,000 on the 8 turn, undeterred, Zlotnikov called once again.

The Q completed the board, and Aerts emptied the clip, moving all in with the larger of the two stacks. Zlotnikov snap-called, putting his 2,180,000 into the middle and tabling KJ for the nut straight as he did.

Aerts revealed he had AK before sliding the majority of his stack one seat to his left.
