Patrick Leonard opened the action with a raise in the hijack. Dennis Weiss inquired about Leonard's and big blind Jorge Ufano's stacks before he called. Ufano then three-bet, Leonard four-bet, and Weiss called. Ufano only had 15,000 behind, which he also called to be all in.

Leonard added a bet to the side pot on the 4♠2♦8♦ flop, which Weiss check-called. The 10♠ turn and 9♦ river were then checked to showdown.

Weiss showed A♠6♥, meaning Leonard's A♥Q♥ won him the side pot. Ufano had made a straight with his Q♣J♣, however, tripling him up to overtake Leonard on the leaderboard.
