"I've Been Playing in the Softest, Juiciest Games for the Past 25 Years, and I'm Still Broke"

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jean-Robert Bellande
Jean-Robert Bellande

Anthony Casale raised under the gun to 30,000, Jean-Robert Bellande called in the small blind, and the big blind folded.

The flop came 2102, and Casale fired out a bet of 30,000. Bellande called. Casale did not slow down on the 2 turn and bet 50,000. Bellande decided to raise to 130,000, and Casale went all in. Bellande snap-called.

Anthony Casale: 99 All in
Jean-Robert Bellande: A2

Casale was drawing dead as the 8 hit the river.

After seeing Bellande scoop the pot with his hand, his tablemate Anthony asked, "Wait, he raised and you called?" Bellande responded, "Listen, Anthony, I've been playing in the softest, juiciest games for the past 25 years, and I'm still broke. My stuff ain't GTO," he said with a chuckle.

"You know, I was going to fold, but I had 10,000 in there and the guy told me he had no idea what he was doing, so I thought, why not?", Bellande added before sipping his wine with a grin on his face.
