The $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Event Gets Underway at 12 p.m.

Welcome to PokerNews coverage of Event #32: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em, part of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP). At 12 p.m. local time, cards will be in the air in this mid-stakes No-Limit Hold'em tournament, with a champion due to be crowned three days later on June 12.

The $3,000 buy-in is a sweet spot that attracts seasoned, high-end professionals, mid-stakes grinders, and recreational players who are shot-taking. Traditionally, this event attracts more than 2,000 entrants, leading to prize pools around $6 million and first-place prizes north of $750,000.

Structure and Schedule

Play begins at 12 p.m. with 60-minute levels throughout.

Day 1 and Day 2 both play ten levels, with dinner breaks after Level 6 and Level 16, respectively. Day 3 plays down to five players, with Day 4 returning to crown a winner.

Late registration closes at the start of Level 11, which is around 2:15 p.m. on Day 2.

Past Champions & Notable Winners

In 2025, Yilong Wang defeated a field of 2,338 entries to win $830,685 and his first WSOP bracelet.

Wang more than doubled his lifetime earnings with that victory, and told PokerNews, "For, like, seven or eight years I played online [and live] a lot and it just kind of felt like I got unlucky every time, but this time I was lucky enough to get a bracelet."
