Jim Collopy raised to 160,000 from early position before Omar Zazay announced all in for 2,115,000 from the cutoff. Antonio Vargas, who was covered by Zazay, also moved all in. Action folded back around to Collopy, who folded.

Both plays had a big piece on a flop of Q♠8♦9♠, Vargas had an over card to the Queen, a backdoor straight draw and the nut flush draw.

However, Zazay with just top pair held as the board ran out 10♦ on the turn and the 2♣ on the river to eliminate Vargas in 17th place.
