Yuhong Liu Eliminated in 9th Place ($55,202)
Level 25
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Nino Pansier potted to 210,000 under the gun before Yuhong Liu repotted to 660,000 in the big blind, and Pansier called.
On the 10♦9♦8♥ flop, Liu jammed for his final 395,000 and Pansier called.
Yuhong Liu: A♥9♣4♣2♥
Nino Pansier: A♦Q♣5♣4♦
Liu was ahead after pairing his nine but Pansier held the nut flush draw. The 8♠ turn confirmed that no low would be available, and then the 8♣ fell on the river, putting trips on the board. In brutal fashion, Pansier's ace-queen high was the winner, and Liu was eliminated as the first casualty at the final table.
