Seward Sends Denzik Packing
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Nicholas Seward raised pot from late position and found calls from Cheryl Denzik in the cutoff and Juha Helppi in the small blind.
The flop came 8♥2♦A♠ and Helppi checked to Seward who bet out for 60,000. Denzik raised pot to put herself all-in for about 200,000. Helppi got out of the way and Seward snap-called.
Cheryl Denzik: A♣J♦6♣6♥
Nicholas Seward: A♦K♦K♥2♣
Seward was ahead with his two pair and Denzik needed help to stay alive. None was forthcoming on the 7♥ turn nor the 8♠ river and Seward was sent to the rail.
