In the first hand of the day Nick Petrangelo opened to 400 from early position and Dejan Kaladjurdjevic defended from the big blind. The 4♦Q♥Q♠ flop was checked by Kaladjurdjevic and Petrangelo bet 300. Kaladjurdjevic mucked, and a small pot was passed Petrangelo's way.

Then Christopher Nguyen opened to 500 from the cutoff and Barak Wisbrod called from the big blind. A J♥3♥10♥ flop was check-called by Wisbrod after Nguyen continued for 200. Both checked the 10♣ turn to see the 4♣ river and Wisbrod bet 500. Nguyen called and Wisbrod tabled his Q♣10♠ for trip tens. Nguyen quickly mucked.
