Petrangelo Takes Five-Way Pot; Foxen Falls

Level 3 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo opened to 9,000 from middle position and saw four calls from Jesse Lonis in the hijack, Alex Foxen on the button, Vinny Lingham in the small blind, and Alex Kulev in the big blind.

The five players were taken to the 62J flop with action folding to Foxen, who bet 12,000. Only Petrangelo called, and the pair went heads-up to the J turn.

Petrangelo check-called a 44,000 bet from Foxen, and the 10 completed the board.

Both checked to showdown, and Petrangelo showed J8 for trip jacks. Foxen quickly mucked his hand.

In the next hand, Foxen was in a 75,000 pot and on the river against his neighbor Lingham.

They were looking at a 741054 board, and Foxen had bet 50,000 from the cutoff.

Lingham called from the button and tabled 63 for a straight. Foxen was again forced to muck, taking a tumble down in chips.
