Petrangelo Secures Double Knockout
Level 6
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
The players were already all in pre-flop with Leon Sturm in middle position and at risk with 319,000, Ramiro Salinasin the hijack and all in for his last 190,000. Both were covered by Nick Petrangelo in the cutoff.
Ramiro Salinas: 2♣2♠
Leon Sturm: A♥K♠
Nick Petrangelo: Q♥Q♠
Petrangelo was looking to hold, with both at risk players behind before the flop was dealt.
With Petrangelo hitting a set on the Q♣5♠7♣ flop, there was little hope of coming back for Salinas and Sturm. Both missed on the 4♦ turn and 10♦ river, sending two to the rail.
