Mateos Leaves Aido Short

Level 9 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos was in the cutoff and against Sergio Aido in the big blind. The players were already on the river and had been dealt the 458Q6 board.

The pot stood at around 400,000 and Mateos had moved all in for his remaining 325,000 stack. Aido took some time before making the call and Mateos tabled his K2 for the diamond flush. Aido mucked his hand and Mateos secured the full double up, leaving Aido with just 270,000 to play with.

Aido open-jammed from the button in the next hand and picked up the blinds, putting him back to just over 20 big blinds.
