Kabrhel and Foxen Still Sparring
Teun Mulder opened to 480,000 from middle position and Alexandros Theologis called from the hijack. It folded to Sam Soverel on the button, who tossed his hand away but pointed out that one of the cards appeared to be marked with a nail indent.
Martin Kabrhel, in the big blind, immediately stood up and leaned across the table in an attempt to see the card, which had already been collected by the dealer. Alex Foxen, clearly growing frustrated with Kabrhel's antics, told him he didn't need to be shown the card and should just play his hand.
"Care about yourself," Kabrhel snapped back before calling Mulder's raise.
Foxen continued briefly, but Kabrhel cut him off.
"Be quiet. I'm already done with you," Kabrhel said. "Just because you're having a bad day because you're the short stack."
The exchange continued as the dealer spread the 9♥9♠5♠ flop. Kabrhel checked, Mulder bet 340,000, and Theologis quickly folded.
Action was back on Kabrhel, who took his time over the decision. While he deliberated, Foxen prematurely placed his big blind and ante into the pot, seemingly convinced Kabrhel was about to fold. That's exactly what happened.
"Are you taking this long because you're losing at this table?" Foxen asked.
Kabrhel offered no response.
The following hand, Christopher Nguyen opened to 480,000 from the hijack but released his hand when Soverel three-bet to 1,800,000 from the cutoff.
