Minko Gets Even With Tang

Level 16 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Vladimir Minko opened to 160,000 holding KJ under the gun. It folded to Danny Tang in the big blind, who defended 33.

The 1084 flop and A turn were checked by both. Tang checked again on the A turn, seeing his opponent bet 225,000.

Tang spent some time in the tank before he mucked his baby pair, and Minko raked in the chips with his bluff.

Teun Mulder
Teun Mulder

Brandon Wilson was first to act and raised to 160,000 with 109. Teun Mulder just flat-called QQ in the next seat over, inviting big blind Artur Martirosian to squeeze in a three-bet to 920,000 with A10.

Wilson immediately mucked his cards, but Mulder called after spending one of his time banks. Martirosian spent one of his own time extensions before putting his opponent all in for 3,195,000 on the 789 flop.

Being two away from the money, Mulder did not want to risk his average stack, and he tossed his overcards into the muck to forfeit the pot.

Biao Ding
Biao Ding

Biao Ding limped in from the small blind. Artur Martirosian was in the big blind and raised to 300,000. Ding called, and did the same when Martirosian continued for 225,000 on the 7910 flop.

The K turn was then checked by both players, leading to the 6 appearing on the river. Ding made a small bet of 225,000, which Martirosian raised to 1,100,000.

Ding took some time before three-betting to 2,000,000. Martirosian made a quick, albeit reluctant call, only for Ding to show QJ for the nut straight.

Martirosian mucked a lower straight with 84 as the sizable pot was shipped to Ding.
