Ronnie Bardah raised in the cutoff and Michael Pappis three-bet on the button. Kerry Welsh called in the small blind, as did Bardah.

The flop came 8♦8♥9♦ and Pappis continued with a bet. Welsh then raised and Bardah folded, while Pappis called.

Welsh bet again on the 4♣ turn, and Pappis called. Welsh checked the 6♠ river and Pappis bet. Welsh called and turned over A♠10♠, but Pappis had Q♣Q♦ to win the pot.

Jesse Lonis and Renan Bruschi have both recently joined the field.
