Kerry Welsh was explaining how he had cashed at least one Limit Hold'em event at each of the last six WSOPs, including two final tables, when he three-bet in the big blind. Kyle Ray four-bet under the gun, and Welsh called.
The flop came Q♥3♠3♥ and Ray bet. Welsh then raised, Ray reraised, and Welsh called.
Ray bet again on the 2♣ turn, and Welsh called, leaving himself just one 500 chip behind. He then put it in on the J♠ river, and Ray called.
Welsh turned over A♦Q♦, but Ray had A♥A♠ to win the pot and send Welsh to the rail.
"Well, that's my day," Welsh said as he made his exit.
