Negreanu Loses a Chunk to Hansen

Gus Hansen raised under the gun, Daniel Negreanu three-bet on the button, and Hansen called.

"What did you guys have for dinner? Violence," tablemate Esther Taylor said as the flop came 4♦Q♥3♦. Negreanu then bet, and Hansen called.

Negreanu bet again on the 9♣ turn, and Hansen called. The river was the 10♣ and Negreanu bet. Hansen called, and Negreanu showed J♥J♣. Hansen, though, had A♣Q♦ for top pair to win the big pot.

"Back from dinner. I three-bet and this monkey calls. I have jacks, he has ace-queen and wins." Negreanu, taking out his camera to voice his frustrations, said.

"We aren't friends anymore," he said to Hansen.

Gus Hansen raised from the small blind and Phil Ivey called in the big blind.

Hansen bet the A♣J♥Q♠ flop and Ivey called.

Hansen bet the 3♦ turn, and again, Ivey called.

The 9♠ completed the board and Hansen bet for the final time. Ivey called, and Hansen turned over A♥8♠ for two pair. Ivey mucked, and the pot was pushed Hansen's way.

Bradley Jansen was seen leaving the tournament area and had been eliminated.

Ray led out with a bet on the 9♥ turn, and Glaser raised. Ray called to the 5♦ river, and Glaser then bet again. Ray folded this time.

Phil Ivey raised in the cutoff and Daniel Negreanu three-bet on the button. Noah Bronstein then four-bet in the big blind, and both Ivey and Negreanu called.

Bronstein bet on the J♣7♦3♠ flop, and both opponents called. Action checked to Negreanu on the J♦ turn and he bet. Only Bronstein called.

The 6♣ river was checked down, and Bronstein turned over K♠K♥ to win the post.

The dealer fanned the 7♠4♥8♣ flop and Milgrom bet. Wong raised, which Milgrom called.

Milgrom led out on the 10♦ turn and Wong called.

The 8♥ completed the board and both players checked. Milgrom tabled J♦J♠ to take down the pot.

At another table, Marco Johnson was eliminated when he got his last chips in with 2♣2♦ against Gus Hansen's A♠6♥. Hansen made two pair on the 6♣8♦7♠A♥K♠ board to win the pot and send Johnson to the rail.
