Arieh Folds to Ausmus; Racener Gives Up to Hansen

Ausmus bet on the K38 flop and Arieh raised. Ausmus called, and they both checked the 9 turn.

Ausmus then bet on the A river, and Arieh folded.

A few hands later, John Racener bet from the cutoff on a flop of A79 and Gus Hansen raised in the big blind. Racener called to the J turn, where Hansen bet. Racener folded.

Both players checked the K turn to see the K arrive on the river. Smith checked again and Lonis bet. Smith instantly folded, allowing Lonis to pull in a much-needed pot.

Ivey Folds to Chen; Negreanu Doubles on the River

Chen continued betting on the Q10J flop and 5 turn. Ivey called down to the 9 river.

Chen then bet again, and Ivey tanked for a few minutes before folding.

A few hands later, Daniel Negreanu bet from under the gun on a flop of 379 and Ivey called in the big blind. Ivey bet on the 5 turn, and Negreanu whipped out his camera and called off the rest of his stack.

Ivey showed 65 for a pair of fives. "We need an ace or a king," Negreanu said as he turned over AK, and he caught the A on the river to double up.

"If that was Gus, we would be drawing dead. You like that, Gus? You monkey. More chips for you," Negreanu teased Gus Hansen after the hand.

Smith jammed his final 40,000 on the K turn and Ray called.

Smith was ahead with his pair of sixes and just needed to fade an ace or ten on the river.

The 5 completed the board and was safe for Smith, keeping him alive in the event.
