Elezra's Four Plays
Level 15
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Albert Riccobono opened to 15,000 and Eli Elezra in the big blind called to see a flop.
The dealer fanned a 3♠Q♠A♠. Riccobono continued with 13,000 which Elezra called again.
The dealer peeled a 5♠ turn. With such a wet board, the players checked all the way to the river J♠.
Elezra tabled A♥4♠, pointing to the four to indicate his flush, which prompted Riccobono to muck his hand. As Elezra scooped the pot, he remarked that he was glad the lowest card on the board was a three, allowing his four to play and preventing a chop. Pleased, he smiled and said, "Friendly hand, friendly pot."
