Weiss Leads Razz Looking For Second Bracelet This Summer

Dennis Weiss
Dennis Weiss

The third stud variant tournament of the 2026 WSOP sees its players return at 1:00 pm today in the Paris Hotel and Casino. A total of 519 entrants came out yesterday to generate a prize pool of $688,972, ensuring 78 players will see a piece of that purse and the eventual winner of the bracelet will receive $135,564. As the dust settled yesterday, just 104 players remained in the hunt with their bracelet hopes still alive.

Leading the way is three-time WSOP bracelet winner Dennis Weiss (354,500), being the only player to clear 300k of the field. It was just five days ago that the german player took down his third bracelet in Event #30: $1,500 Limit Hold’em for $133,704. On top of his third title, he has already cashed in five other events this time around, including a fifth place finish in the $1,500 PLO8 this summer, proving a knowledge of a variety of game types. With two Omaha bracelets, one in Hold’em, a stud variant bracelet would fit nicely on his trophy rack.

Play will resume at 1:00 pm with players returning to Level 16. Antes will be 1,500 with a 2,000 bring in.
