Ponomarev Falls to Zhu

Level 18

Omaha Hi-Lo

Yueqi Zhu opened the action with a raise from the hijack. Nikolay Ponomarev called all-in for his final 23,000 on the button, and Jared Hyman defended his big blind.

Hyman check-called a bet from Zhu on the Q35 flop, before action went check-check on the 4 turn. Hyman checked for a third time on the 10 river, then folded after Zhu bet out.

Zhu tabled A653 for two pair and a good low. Ponomarev could only produce top pair with AKQ9 as his tournament ended.
