In a three-way limped pot to the AQ52 turn without any betting action until then, Sergio Martinez Gonzalez bet 45,000 in the small blind and Ka Kwan Lau folded in the big blind. Lou Garza called in the cutoff and they went heads-up to the 5 river.

Martinez Gonzalez now made it 100,000 to go and Garza raised to 350,000 for half of his stack. The chip leader from Spain eventually called and Garza announced two pair, but never really showed his cards as Martinez Gonzalez claimed the pot with the AJ42.

Soon after that, Philip Marsico led the A96 flop for 75,000 from late position and Eelis Pärssinen called on the button. The 2 followed on the turn and Marsico asked for the pot size, then made it 180,000 to go into 290,000 with Pärssinen sticking around.

Marsico slowed down to check the 5 river and now it was up to Pärssinen to inquire how much was in the middle. The Finn bet 480,000 into 650,000 and Marsico sent his cards into the muck.
