Schindler Happy To Check Down Against Mio

Three ways limped preflop to the 8♥5♥4♣ flop, Maximilian Schindler in the small blind and Barrett Threadgill in the big blind checked. Hani Mio on the button bet 60,000 and Schindler was the only caller.

After the A♦ turn and J♣ river, both players checked and Schindler announced jack-eight for two pair. Mio had that beat with the A♥Q♦8♠2♥ for aces and eights, and got shown Schindler's Q♥J♥8♠4♥.

"Always happy to check that one down," Schindler said and added he didn't like the ace.

"Hearts would have gotten us in trouble," Mio replied in the final hand before the dinner break.
