Khachatryan Loses to Ding; Busts Fischer After
On the heads-up turn of 7♦7♣4♣9♣, Levon Khachatryan bet 125,000 in the big blind and Biao Ding called on the button. Khachatryan bet another 275,000 on the J♣ river and Ding called to catch his opponent bluffing as Khachatryan only exposed the A♠J♥. Ding's Q♣Q♠6♥5♣ won the pot.
Soon after that, Manuel Fischer was all-in after the Q♦J♣7♣9♥ turn and was looked up by Khachatryan.
Manuel Fischer: K♠Q♥9♣4♣
Levon Khachatryan: Q♠10♦9♠8♥
Khachatryan had turned the straight and Fischer still had outs with his two pair and flush draw along with a ten to make a higher straight. However, the 2♥ river was not among them for Fischer to bust.
"Wow, you always have good hands," Daniel Negreanu chimed in and Khachatryan reminded him in table chat that he had previously knocked out Negreanu on a previous entry on Day 1.
