Gruffudd Pugh-Jones raised his button, and Hani Mio defended in the big blind.

The pair checked through the 2♣A♦8♣ flop, and Mio checked again on the Q♦ turn. Pugh-Jones fired a bet of 150,000, which Mio snap-called.

The 4♦ river was then quickly checked to showdown, where Pugh-Jones revealed A♠A♣K♦5♥ to win the pot.

Over at another table, small blind Chenxiang Miao and Alex Foxen in the hijack were playing a three-bet pot worth 725,000. Miao checked the 8♣J♠6♥ flop over to Foxen, who bet 225,000. Miao called, after which the 5♦ turn was checked by both.

Miao checked a third time on the 10♠ river. Foxen announced a bet of 725,000, but Miao folded his hand before the chips could even hit the felt.
